Industrial Trip to Nestle Plant Rudrapur :

On 29th Feb 2020 student of MIT college of Management went to Nestle Plant Rudrapur for Industrial Tour. Industrial visits offer a great source to gain practical knowledge. Students can observe and learn as to how theatrical concepts are put to into action, thereby aiding their practical learning. Students are exposed to real working environment and shown how things are done in an organisation

Yes youth empowerment and skills Workshop:

.”Yes youth empowerment and skills Workshop”- A workshop was conducted for the benefit MBA students on 14.10.2019 .The workshop was conducted by Mr. Doshant Verma & Mr. Rohit Agarwal from Art of living. The main purpose of the workshop was to inculcate self belief confidence amongst the students and also how to handle pressure in difficult situations. After the initial session on 14.10.2019 the workshop was conducted till 19.10.2019 for interested students.

“ Ethical Dilemma” – A guest lecture on the topic of ethical dilemna:

“ Ethical Dilemma” – A guest lecture was held on the topic of ethical dilemna on 19.10.2019 and the key note speaker was Mr. Vipul Goel ADRM Nothern Railway , Chartered Accountenat ; CPA and almunus IIM Kozhikode. In his lecture he discussed with stdunets about the ethical dilema that the people faces in todays corporate world.

Personality Development:

“ Personality Development” – A guest lecture was held on 07.11.2019 by Ms. Somya Almunus NMIMS Mumbai on the topic personality development .Imporatanc of good communication skills and personality was discused with stduents.

Connect with work:

“Connect with work” - A work shop was conducted for the MBA students from 06.11.2019 to 8.11.2019 and also 29 .01.2020 to 01.2.2020 for MBA students by Rubicon pvt Ltd. official trainer of Barclay Bank. The trainer was Mr. Ravinder Paul Singh & Rupli Singh For the benfit of MBA students . Reume building , interview facing skills and personality development were the key areas on which the workshop was conducted .

Industrial Trip to Parle, Rudrapur :

MIT College of Management has organized an industrial Trip to Parle Plant at Rudrapur. MBA students were taken on the trip in order to have firsthand experience of the manufacturing process in a plant. Students’ were shown a introductory video about the biscuits manufacturing and later were taken to the actual site where 2 production lines were running . Students query and doubts were very efficiently handled by the staff and coordinators of the plant.

Guest Lecture by Bank of Baroda Officials :

Guest Lecture was organized by MIT College of Management on. Mr. M.C.Gupta ( Chief Manager), Mr. Trineshwar Kulakshi (Sr. Marketing Manager) and Mr. Sachin (E-Channel Officer) from Bank of Baroda interacted with MBA students and gave valuable insight about the banking sector functionality. Students clarified lots of their doubts about banking operations. Speakers also enlightened the students about various Job opportunities in banking sectors.

“ Safalkta Apni Muthi Main”

Gillett Guard & Amar Ujala had organized this event at MIT College of Management. Students of MBA were given valuable tips about keeping themselves motivated and always be ready for the opportunity. Mr. Paramdeep Singh, Ms. Shweta Singh & Ms.Sakshi Tiwari were selected on the basis of a General Awareness test and were given certificate of excellence.

Educational & Cultural Tour to Indira Gandhi International Trade Fair:

MIT College of Management organized an Educational & Cultural Tour for MBA students to Indira Gandhi International Trade Fair on 20 November 2017. The IITF, ever since its inception in 1980, has evolved as a major event for the business community. It is a premier event organised by the India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO), the nodal trade promotion agency of the Government of India. The event is held between 14-27 November every year at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, India. More than 70 students from MBA department went on the tour to get insight learning of management from these kind of fairs.

Alumni Meet 2017 - Sunhare Pal 2

MIT MBA Department organized second alumni meet “Sunhare Pal 2” on 4th November 2017. More than 110 Alumni grace this occasion and shared their valuable experiences with young budding managers. Event was started with lightening of lamp, there were series of cultural activities and finished with lunch. Alumni motivated all juniors that there is no shortcut of success, you have to leave no stone unturned to get success in your life; Concentrate on your studies and improve your communication.

Industrial Trip to Videocon Plant, Kashipur :

Industrial Trip to Videocon Plant, Kashipur was organised by MBA Department on 9th October 2017. Students of MBA Second Year were provided the oppurtunity to get first hand experience about the manufacturing process of the industry. Student did get their querries addressed by the managers and executives at the plant who verry efficiently explained the entire processing of the plant to the students. Dr. Sachin Bharadwaj & Dr. Smrita Jain were the Faculty Cordinator for this trip.

Guest Lecture by Dr. Kumkum Bharti(IIM KAshipur) :

MBA Department Organized a Guest Lecture on 23rd September 2017 on the topic " New Product Development In Present in Present Time", the resource person was Dr. Kumkum Bharti, IIM Kashipur. Dr. Bharti informed the students about various aspects of New Product Development and had a very healthy & informative discussion session with the MBA first & Second year students. Dr. Bharti also engaged the students in an activity where groups of students were asked to come up with new product idea and develop it with the resources provided to them. Students were greatly safisfied as all major querries were handeled satisfactorily by the speaker. The session ended by vote of thanks by Dr. Kapil Kapoor, HOD MBA Department.

Workshop on Multi Commodity Exchange & Mutual Funds:

MBA department has organized a workshop on “Multi Commodity Exchange & Mutual Funds” on 19th September 2017. Mr. Pankaj Srivastava was the key recourse person, he has a rich financial experience of more than 17 years working in top Indian financial giants. He explained the functionalities of MCX and Mutual Funds to the students of first and second year. All major quarries of students were very efficiently addressed by Mr Pankaj Srivastava.


MBA department organized BRAINO Quiz Competition on 15 September 2017. Students from first and second year actively participated in the event. The event had 3 rounds, first round was open for all participants; for second round top 10 teams were selected and further for 3rd round top 5 were selected. Dr. Kapil Kapoor played the host of the quiz competition. First prize was awarded to the team of Shreya Rathor & Sunimita Kaushik from MBA Second Year; Second Prize was won the team of Pulkit Sharma & Rokit of Second Year; Third prize was won by the team of Achint Agarwal & Deepam agarwal of First Year. Director MITCOM Dr. Manish Agarwal Congratulated the winners and motivated everyone to take active participation is such activities.

Collage competition “ Bits And Pieces”:

MBA Department Organized a Collage competition “ Bits And Pieces” on 13 September 2017. Students of MBA 1st and 2nd year were given the theme of redesigning the corporate Logos in a given time period. All students took participation with great enthusiasm.

Chess Tournament 2017

Chess Tournament 2017was organised by MBA department on 11 September 2017. 24 MBA students from both first and second year participated in the tournament . Rishab Raj of MBA first year was the winner and Rajat Agarwal of MBA First year was the Runner Up in Boys and Parul Sharma of MBA first Year was winner and Zaka Khan from MBA second year was runner up in girls. Director MITCOM Dr. Manish Agarwal congratulated the winners and motivated everyone to take active participation in such activities."

The speaker enlightened the students with the knowledge about various aspects of Retail business. The speaker told about various strategies that are important to run a good retail store. Students of MBA Department celebrated Teachers day on 5th September 2017. Program started with Saraswati Vandana followed by series of Cultural activities and Games organised by students. the function ended by vote of thanks from Director MITCOM to the students for organizing wonderfull event and also motivated them to take active participation in such activities along with the academics.

workshop on “Goods & Services Tax” was organized by MBA Department. C.A. Himanshu Mehra interacted and explained the students about the importance and basic functionality of GST. Students had a lot of interesting quarries regarding GST applications and functionalities which were all addressed by the speaker.

People are so fond of him that Himeesh Madaan’s videos are being watched in 162 countries with more than 10 million viewers. He has interacted with the 1st year students on 21st August 2017 and told various positive thinking techniques to excel in all the phases of life. In his motivational session, “Mr. Himeesh Madaan” has emphasised on Positive thinking. He stated that positive thinking is a mental and emotional attitude that focuses on the bright side of life and expects positive results. A positive person anticipates happiness, health and success, and believes he or she can overcome any obstacle and difficulty.

Orientation Program for First Year Students :

Orientation Program was organized for MBA first year students on 21st August 2017. Director MITCOM Dr. Manish Agarwal, welcomed the students to the Fresh curriculum and explained the basic meaning of Management in Life. Dr. Kapil Kapoor, HOD, Explained the MBA academic Curriculum to the students and informed about the Rules and Resolutions to be followed in the College Premises

Faculty Development Program on “Research Methodology with SPSS”:

Faculty Development Programme was organized with the view to enhance the research and development skills of faculty members. Dr. Pushpender Kumar from Kirorimal College, New Delhi was the key resourse person for the FDP. More than 30 Faculty from various departments participated in this FDP.

Guest Lecture by Mr. Ranveer Singh, GM-HR, Marque Impex was organized by management department on the topic “Impact of hr practices in enhancing productivity of employees”. He has focused on the importance of Human Resource Management and making the employees the most valuable asset for the organization. Human resource is important to organizations in various areas, ranging from strategic planning to company image. HR practitioners in a small business who have well-rounded expertise provide a number of services to employees. The areas in which HR maintains control can enhance employees’ perception of HR throughout the workforce when they believe HR considers employees to be its internal customers and renders services with that in mind. According to him extra benefits and incentives can increase the morale of the employees and enhance the productivity and helps in creating a better climate.


One week short term training programme on ‘Strategic Planning And Management Of Technical Institute” from 1-5 August, 2016 was organized by MIT College Of Managament Moradabad in collaboration with NITTTR Chandigarh. The programme was conducted through ICT at multiple locations on interactive mode. The main objective of the training programme is to orient participants about the strategic planning process with the purpose of better management of these institutes. Almost 50 participants from different streams of MITGI were participated in this programme.

Budget Symposium 2016

Keeping in line with providing a holistic Business education, A Symposium was organized by MBA department on “Union Budget 2016”. The speakers were eminent professionals from the field of finance namely CA Shri Praveen Kr. Agarwal and Shri P.N. Trivedi, AGM, Punjab National Bank.

The speakers delved deeply on the various aspects of Union Budget 2016 including the Railways Budget and brought interesting facets of the various schemes and incentives for the country in each sector. The session was followed by questions from the students who were very eager to learn from the extensive industry experience of the speakers.

DG, MIT Prof. (Dr.) R.B. Saxena in his remarks elaborated on the commitment of MIT group on Industry oriented professional management education with such events. Director Prof. (Dr.) Manish. Agarwal in his opening note took upon the technicalities of budgeting process. Convener of the event Prof. (Dr.) M.K. Sharma thanked the distinguished guests and speakers along with the faculty & Staff for their valuable participation and urged the students to take advantage of various schemes and incentives of the government announced in the union budget 2016.

Guest Lecture by Dr. Pushpendra Kumar

Guest lecture on “Research Design in Marketing” was organized by MBA Department. Valuable talk was delivered by Prof. Pushpendre Kumar from Kirorimal College, Delhi University. He emphasized importance of research in the field of marketing. Companies are offering products as per the need and wants of customers, therefore Marketing Research always help companies to find out what actually the latest trend of customer is.

Corporate Logo Designing Competition

On 5 April 2016 MBA department have organized Corporate Logo Designing Competition for the students. Corporate Logo Designing Competition is a platform where the students generate their ideas, enhance their skill and impart their knowledge in the field of the marketing and business. Fourteen groups have participated in this competition and each group has 4 members. The winning entries was selected by our prestigious judges and the judgment criteria was based on Theme representation, Designing, Creativity, Intricacy, Space utilization, Overall presentation. Winning logo prize was awarded to the group of Arushi Agarwal, Parishi Rastogi, Priya Singh, Tushar Bagai who made the logo of Govt. of India’s Campaign “Beti Bachao, Beti Padao”.

MBA Cricket Tournament

Three Match Cricket series of 10 over per innings was organized by MBA department, where both Juniors and Seniors participated. Juniors won the series by 2-1, Man of the match for final decider was Kuldeep Kumar from Juniors team. The winning team was awarded with trophy and medals by Director, MITCOM Dr. Manish Agarwal.

Guest Lecture By Prof. H.P.Mathur

A Guest Lecture by Prof. Dr. H.P. Mathur was organized by the MIT College of Management. The speaker was from IIT, BHU with more than 3 decades of experience. The topic was Leadership which also covered motivation, positive attitude, team work, communication skills and so on. The session was followed by questions from the students who were very eager to hear from the extensive IIT experience of the speaker.

Guest Lecture by Mr. Jitendra Chauhan

Mr. Jitendra Chauhan is an alumnus of MIT Moradabd. He has worked for the most prestigious organisation of Government of India. He is presently working as a Personal Assistant in Ministry of External Affairs.He delivered his lectures on "Employer expectations and placement opportunities in public and private sectors".

He emphasized that what are the opportunities are there in both public and private sector after completion MBA..

Chess Championship

Students of MBA participated in Chess Championship. A total of 24 Students participated, in which comprises of 8 girls and 16 boys. . all the participants were extremely enthusiastic and showed great sportsmanship. Itendra Kumar Saini (2nd year) & Aditi Bhatnagar(2nd Year) were winners of the competition while Ayush Gupta(2nd Year) & Vishakha Lathar(2nd Year) were the runners up.

Tour To International Crafts Mela, Suraj Kund

The Mela was organized by the Surajkund Mela Authority & Haryana Tourism in collaboration with Union Ministries of Tourism, Textiles, Culture and External Affairs. For the 30th Surajkund International Crafts Mela-2016, the state of Telangana was chosen to be the Theme State. At least 20 countries & all the states of India had participated in the Mela

Students were divided into various groups and given project work which included conducting survey on various topics by visiting various stalls and collecting data via questionnaires. The project is a part of academic activity associated with one of the core subjects, “NMBA 028- Research Methodology”. This project will teach the students about the basics of research & make them familiarize with the concept of data collection as well as data analysis. The survey data collected will be analyzed and included into project report which will be submitted at the end of semester, based on which presentations will be scheduled.

The objective of this program was to display with the help of role plays, skits, speeches etc, how women are being empowered, how they take their own decisions by breaking all personal limitations of the society and family and to know the relevance of higher education in women’s life and to understand how higher education can bring changes and positivity in women’s life.

The Competition was being organized on 21st Feb, 2015 to provide platform to the students for showing their creativity and innovative skills by generating a new product/ business idea/ business strategy.

Mr.Vijay Chopra who is a well known Motivator and strategic thinker told us the real meaning of true success. The purpose of the lecture was to clarify all the doubts of the young budding managers and making them more confident and how they can achieve success in their life.

To celebrate “International Day of Elimination of Violence against Women” Poster Making Competition was being organized, the purpose of the competition was to raise awareness and trigger action to end the global scourge of violence against women and girls.
